AT LAST !!!!!! - my Bally "BMX"

YAY !!

After 5+ years hunting & waiting, i FINALLY have scored myself a Bally "BMX" - my personal grail :-)

Needs some good cleaning and TLC, but she'll be up'n'runnin' in no time  ;-)

This machine came from Gene Cunningham's personal collection, and thanx to Mark.C for bringing it over to Aus for me, amongst MANY other titles from Gene's collection.

Glad to see you found a BMX!

Slightly disappointed to find out that a BMX had been lurking 3 hours from me all these years, while I've been looking for one, and now it's halfway around the world :)

John - Gene sent out "informational" emails about selling his collection - might have been on RGP a year ago ? I recall it was FAXED out to people at the time ! So I gather what is left are projects and doubles. I'd like to know where his "Big Dick" ended up  %.%

Thanx guys for the kinds words, and YES, it's a thrill to finally obtain the elusive grail game (as we all know).

For the many that don't know, i'm a seasoned bmx racer from the 80's, a state (vic) champion back in the day, and keeper of southern hemispheres largest oldschool bmx collection (although selling a lot of it off).

So, it means the world to me to own this machine and give it the love & restoration it truly needs.

Looks fantastic!

You can even make your own topper or add some toys with all the BMX stuff that is available at K-marts these days.

from the pix I saw, his "Big Dick" was nestled in between "Dolly Parton" and "Mata Hari", but the Captain Fantastic was moving its way into the frame..  @@^
