Hey Daniel,

Top work on this machine, love the colour scheme. Kind of gives you a new appreciation for wood rails.

Well its been a long journey but i think im at the end well for a while atleast what started out as an ebay project has been turned into another beauty if i do say so myself.    The wood rails are the originals that ive sanded and varnished but are not atached as i would like to still get some new ones made so until this happens Marathon is finished just need to bolt the legs on and squeeze it into the line up  $#$

Here are the actual ebay photos from Marks Auction im glad i seen the potential that so many others overlooked or i may have been outbid on this Gem

Just beautiful Daniel,

That game was a basket case and you have brought her back from the dead.

Those woodies are just so beautiful - so glad somebody that is younger has learnt to appreciate them as much as the old farts like Gav and myself  ^^^

Agreed 100 % - I'm itching to restore a woody. Maybe sometime soon.

Hey Daniel - What's the story with the legs ? Didn't you source some from the USA ?

Do you have pictures of what the bolts should look like ? I assume there are washers as well ?

Daniel,

I'm pretty sure old head bolts from EMs and SS pins will do the trick for the legs....doubt you will be able to buy them here

Nino,

They are different again, they have rounded heads on them....the actual bolts will be really tough to find
