decided to say G'day
« on: April 07, 2009, 05:56:51 PM »
Howdy you lot,

I'm a professional lurker.

I usually muck around with arcade and such but have picked up a couple of pin's while on the hunt for dedicated cabs.

I will be restoring them as time permits.

One is an allied Hearts Spades tabletop and the other is a Kiss #@#.

I will soon be asking for advice as I get through each stage.

cheers

rich

Right back at you. Not a bad start to your pin collection - there will definitely be some pinball envy methinks.

Ok here are some,

In the process of stripping kiss the pf, while I was at it I removed the mylar which came off without any heat/cold/solvent #*#, just pealed off.

Need to get the rest of the bumpers, flippers off as you can see (suggestions?)

The tabletop needs a tidy up with some electrical work.

Thats the second table top pin I've seen in as many weeks.  I don't think I've ever played one, but for the vertically challenged like myself at least it is easier to work on!   $#$

Rich,

To rmove the flippers on your KISS - you need to take the 2 'grub' screws off that is holding the flipper shaft from under the playfield. Once you do that the flippers will come off.
