Sign of the times???
« on: January 25, 2014, 03:22:35 PM »
This machine has been listed as a package and singularly..

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Captain-Fantastic-Pinball-Machine-No-Reserve-Bargain-/201025894323?pt=AU_CoinOp&hash=item2ece13b7b3

Title is very sought after and one in decent condition easily commanded $4K 2 years back..

This machine has had a respray ( looks good!).. PF is a reproduction.. I have one of these with the ceramic clear coat and they are just stunning and it looks like the BG is also a reproduction.
PF alone is $900 to buy.

At $3500 this SHOULD have been sold a few times over.. id be asking $1000 to $1500 above that price for this.
Ive seen much worse sell for much more and yet this one just wont be sold..

I've been watching this machine and thought the same.

My personal thoughts (await the blasphemy): I'd rather put the money into a DMD game with all the toys for $3500. Yes, I'd like a Captain Fantastic in the collection, but at the moment I'm after other titles.

Maybe the demand for the older games is dropping as the ones hunting them down for their collection have already sourced them? KISS was another title that always seemed to sell on ebay. Now I see them sit between $4000-$5000.

Cheers!
Adam.

This guy was originally selling this with the EH seat and another game as a package deal and that deal was a bargain :-) but on its own this machine is cheap.
