Its a shame they didn't clean it first!!!!

..Are they " stickers" in front of the slings?

Reminds me of a redecalled IJ a few years ago where the "restorer" had not bothered to remove the cabinet/headbox bolts and simply applied the new decals straight over the top.

Cabinet looked like it had boils!

I've got a stingray playfield I'm cleaning up. Don't know what I'll do with it yet.

Its a beautiful looking game.. I quite fancy a sea themed line up to go with my space themed ones.. Stern Stingray.. Bally Mariner..Fathom..etc

Low res pics too, just to make sure you can't see the poorly done work, no zooming

Yeah cool looking playfield.   I have got one in half decent shape hanging up on the wall.  I like the sea theme as well.
Addicted to pins.

Not many of these were around back in the day. The chimes were so bloody loud - that's one thing I can remember. VERY cool artwork. The earlier SS Sterns are sleeper pins in my opinion. I'd love a trip down Memory Lane (another Stern) and play a few games on this title !

Touched up and clearcoated?? looks to me like they cleared over insert wear  !@#

Stingray was the first pin i ever bought, i still have it and its a keeper for that reason  *%* *%*

Slightly off topic i know, but the reds in my bg have all faded to white on mine.. to look at it you'd NEVER know it was meant to have red in it.. its all white where there should be red *!@ apart from that its on good nick.. hardly any flaking at all!
For many years i never knew any difference until i finally saw pics on the net  :lol (the internet didn't exist when i bought mine).

Its a fun player for sure, and i love the way the chimes attempt to play a tune on start up  :D
