Well I finally un boxed this bad boy today the previous owner did such a good job packing it I didn’t want to open it till I was ready to start.
Heath mentioned that he has been waiting for me to do this one so thought I’d make a start while he is showing an interest.

It literally took us an hour plus to unpack it this thing could have been dropped from a building and been fine.

Found the measurements etc for the cabinet but it looks like they are for a lower glass top version.     It looks kinda cool and more practical but I’ve also already purchased the artwork for the marquee and the back wall from the USA. Tough call which do you guys like?

Here’s all my bits still a few to source or make and tons of stripping and rust removal on the working

Well it has finally started Heath figured while we are isolated might be a good time so we snuck off to bunnings for supplies and have made a start,

The cabinet plans that came with the game were from multiple people in multiple measurement systems.   We literally spent a whole night converting imperial to metric only to find that both cabinets where completely different hahaha,   Then to find that none of the timber sizes are available off the shelf so we just got what was closest and went from there.

Nice timber work! Amazing looking game, love these clever pre-computer games.

Little more progress on the soccer

Probably start on the mechanism now as the local doesn’t have the ply we need for the door

Rona itself just felt like a really tired cold the flu I had the month before was far worse and lasted longer,

It’s been over 2 weeks since I tested negative and I still have a bit of a niggly throat and a sinus burn when I breath.

It’s effected me mentally more than anything I think had a close call with a best friend during it and it set my head right off

Very nice mate. Rona his our family and everyone was different. Mine lasted a day - as did my daughter. My son copped it last and harder than everyone (5-7 days). The wife has it 2 days, but was stuck in bed. I "isolated" at work too..
