I was given a playfield and backglass from a Bally 'Variety' Bingo machine .

I believe they were the only things a old operator had kept from his opertating days ,
A  friend managed to get them for me from the operators daughter .
I Framed the B/Glass a while back now but it was time to clean up the playfield and to get some lights going ..

The original playfield motor and excess wiring was removed from the bottom of the playfield , I just left in the Rollover lamps wires ..

I stripped cleaned, and polished  the playfield up and cleaned the metal work .
Ive left on all the original paperwork and stickers , one i think may be the Bally factory sticker?? , but very fade

I ran the 2 rollover lamps wiring (Red + Yellow/Black) and the common  Blue wire  in to the G I 's , the solid wires that lead to the Playfield G I's
Then soldered on a 6v / 300ma power supply  to one of the Rollover lights on the lower PF
. I have used  warm white retro leds . Bingo!

Looks great Ralph. Nice old machine - I'm glad it's still being enjoyed, albeit in a different way. By the way, how is the Catacomb resto going?
I enjoy Porsche, Gibson LPs, Bally-Williams & learning about pinball maintenance & restoration.

Finally scored a one armed bandit and a 2100 game cabinet.
Had the multi game a while but thought it would look good with the slot.
I am really stoked with my collection now and just want to improve all the games I own.
If it isn't broke, it isn't pinball.

Congrats on getting the one armed bandit.  I've been on the lookout for one myself.

I outsourced sandblasting and priming of the cabinet, but did the painting and chrome polishing myself, and Ralph67 gave me a huge hand getting the mechanics working. Here's what she's looking like now (90% finished).

  • Latest restore "Top Score" Two plater EM
I've been chasing one for years and after I sold "Elektra" as fate would have it One came up. So here is my Chicago coin "FUNLAND" rifle shooter.
She had a few minor operational issues but all were an easy fix. I just love the Blacklight glow of the internal artwork & targets plus the recoil action when you shoot.

A great addition to my stable. :)
