Cash Cowboys pick up pinballs
« on: April 26, 2014, 09:55:20 AM »
Just saw an old episode of Cash Cowboys, S4 E3 where they visit a guy with 8000 sq ft warehouse in Kamloops BC full of pinballs, videos and parts.
This place is jam packed with pinballs. The guy that runs this is like Nino, brought up in pinball through his operator dad.
Many titles can be seen here, mainly EM and SS.
Kiss, Wizard ($2200 for the pair). Coney Island, Memory Lane ($900 for the pair).

Computer Space 1971, first coin op video game ever made.

They pick up playfields and backglasses for $50 each.

Pinball heaven, last third of the show.
If you don't remember the 70s then you were on drugs.
If you remember playing pinball in the 70s you were having a good time.
If you don't remember anything,  then read about it here,

That would have been a good episode to watch.
I'm not cranky, I just want MORE pins!

Damn, same here i missed it too  @.@

I used to watch that show in case they ever came across any pins for sale, the few episodes i'd seen with pins in the past, they walked straight past them.

Will keep an eye out for repeats. This one is a beauty as they feature pinball for ten minutes (15 minutes into the show). They actually show some game play and you get a couple of good glimpses at the size of the warehouse. They also show a few good coin operated machines. S4 E3 is a must see.

Is this the 2 Canadians?.. I find them both really irritating. The skinny one in American Pickers annoys me also... in fact, they all annoy me especially the spoilt brats in the Pawn shop. Find these shows hard to watch...LOL

Yes. They also picked up a nice Capt. Fantastic boxed lit backglass for a steal, $100.

I've also seen an American Restoration episode where they visit a guy who has a ton of pinballs in a large shed.

I think that's probably where they visit time from the pinball hall of fame on Las Vegas. I've seen that ep and also been there. Awesome place yo visit and spend a few hours if you ever get to Vegas.
