TAF Green swamp light Mod help
« on: April 30, 2014, 07:57:40 PM »
Has anyone built there own green swamp light mod? I see you can buy it but it seems expensive for what it is. I was thinking of making one myself. If someone has done it I would like to hear how they did it or any ideas on how to do it would be appreciated.

Thanks Dan

I have seen the scoop mod on a few pinball part supplier sites but with postage it seemed a bit expensive but I haven't seen it on ebay with the free postage which makes it cheaper for sure cheers.
I though I saw one that lights up the bottom of the swamp plastic behind the scoop. Now with LEDs installed that are could do with a bit of light.

I've fitted one of these, it was very simple and gives a good but not awesome effect. I got it as a father's day present so can't comment on the value but if you're handy and like to fiddle you could certainly make your own. If you're time poor just buy it

After doing some investigation. After you buy an LED or 10 pack, resistors, alligator clips, etc. the Mod with free postage from Judge Dreads seems reasonable. One last question, could the kick out light mod be adapted to fit under the swamp plastic? that's the part I really want to light up.

Not sure what the green scoop mod is connected to but the swamp plastic green light behind to scoop must be connected to the GI circuit as it follows exactly what the GI does during showtime multiball.
