Xenon.......an epic adventure!

So I brought this Xenon glass from a guy in the states who I asked to send it to my Borderlinx account address in Dayton Ohio. Lucky for me the guy is about to leave on a pin trip and passes straight through Dayton. Now this is one epic trip to pick up a pin in itself. He lives near Helena Montana, 1753 Miles away from Dayton and that’s only on his way to get where he’s going!



Borderlinx won’t take delivery’s from the general public so Miss Xenon needs to complete her last 6.6 miles to Borderlinx curtesy of the local downtown Dayton FedEx. Pretty simple, right?.........Wrong!

Instead of 6.6 miles across town my beautiful Xenon glass took Highway 75 straight out of town! In fact she didn’t stop until she hit Helena 144 miles away (Not Helena Montana again but Helena Ohio). From here she must have realized her mistake and headed back down highway 75 To another little town called Vadalia 16miles out of Dayton where she was to rest her head for the night. But instead It appears she’s partied on and woken up in another state! I can only guess she had the munchies and gone looking for some chicken because now she’s in the Kentucky town of Independence, 66 miles on the OTHER side of Dayton!
Now with the travel bug well and truly bitten she’s headed across 3 state borders to the windy city of Chicago Illinois where it seems she now chooses to reside. At least she has since Saturday………



Stay tuned for more but it may be a miracle if she makes it here in one piece.

Yep, I'm hoping there's no rattle in the box by the time she gets to me but the way she's going so far I'm kind of expecting to have brought one glass but have lots when she gets here. 
Not much I can do about it other than live vicariously through her travelling holiday across the states. Chicago must be a wonderful city though she's certainly spent enough time there.

It's probably my favourite game. Some don't rate it except for the art but I love it. My existing glass isn't terrible but it does have a 20c piece of the art missing and some early lifting on the bottom right hand side. From the other pics I have of the glass this one is really nice. The game will never leave my collection so it's worth the effort.
