Jungle queen question pls
« on: August 30, 2014, 10:34:53 PM »
Any ideas?

Turned Jungle queen on last weekend ready for my 50th and it kept blowing the 15a fuse. Looked further and found the R/H flipper coil had burnt and noticed the flipper button was sticking. Fixed the button and assumed the kids turned on the machine, the switch stuck, coil locked and burnt out. Changed the coil and then remembered there was a second flipper on the R/H side. Coil burnt too. Changed this as well. I thought that would be it but the second coil (top flipper) will not pull in. I have power to the coil, earth consistent, to look at the coil it looks like it is trying but wont pull in. I disconnected the capacitor across the switch but it was fine so I put it back.

Any ideas?

J.D.

If the flipper is trying to activate I'd be checking the end of stroke switch.
