Older sited pinballs
« on: January 24, 2015, 10:05:13 AM »
A recent post in the "sited pinballs" thread from McKie1 about an out of order Meteor, Gorgar and Silverball Mania at Dromana drive-in had me thinking, what are some of the older sited machines others have come across? Awesome find by the way McKie1, it's just a real shame they weren't working. For me Meteor In particular is a favourite.

Personally in recent years I can't think of any non DMD machines I've seen but surly there's some other early SS or even EM's about?

I'm about to site an early SS in the next couple of weeks.

I've seen a couple in the last couple of years but few and far between

Cool, I think that's awesome! Let us know what machine and where it's sited when you have it in place.

No worries guys will do. The demo for a particular business will suit that era and the owners want one in. I'll update you when it's in

I was pleasantly surprised to come across this pin at the Railway Hotel in South Melbourne last week.
Aesthetically it's in nice original condition but lots of globes out and the right flipper tended to stick a bit. $1 for 5 balls

Not a  cheap machine - surprised to see it onsite I must admit. Not a great player either but has always been on my wish list .. this is a grail pin to me. Once found never sold on.

I'd never played one either and I'd only ever heard it wasn't much of a player but I didn't mind it. It looks great particularly since I'm a Rolling Stones fan I guess. I'd definitely have one given the chance.

Good to see its still going strong.   It's been there a few years now only issue had been coin mech jams so it's holding up well
