Word of warning re pin all the connectors and do all the ground mods, it's only way to get them to run reliably.

Bottom playfield having trouble kicking ball up, do the mod with the pop bumper board kicks it up everytime.

I also have some aftermarket system 80 boards 4sale if needed.

what sort of price are you after for your boards, dont know if i need any yet as the machine does run, i am pretty sure i am missing a pop bumper driver board,
when turned on the HH fires up with the scores all working,
adds credit ok, press start button but ball does not kick out to the trough,
put ball in trough by hand and shoot ball with the shooter on to the playfield, flippers work most targets score aswell

Ian, I fear for your sanity. That looks like way too much work to get going. As I do worry for you, I feel it my duty to offer to take that game off your hands, lets say an extra $100 over what you paid?  Yes, yes, I know you may be a little overawed at the offer and the general kindness that brought it about, but your welfare is important to me. Please pack the game and I'll be over with some cash shortly.

Good signs there Ian.

Check the trough switch. Make sure the contact is clean and adjusted. Does the switch recognize a drained ball and advance to ball 2 ?

Check schematics. Check the coil - follow the wire to the driver board. Refit the connector.

Could just be a collapsed pin on the driver board connector, or the transistor that drives that coil.

Marvin system 80 guide could be a great read for you tonight, mate !

will have a fiddle over the weekend, i did clean the trough switch contacts, i think it did advance to ball 2 unsure.

Excellent scans... Mine is worn in the upper playfield - in fact - all I've seen have had some wear there !

just found a rom to make HH visual pinball work, had a couple of quick games,
the lower PF looks a bit hard to master.

anyone had a go at visual pinball HH.

Had a bit of a muck around with it today, gave the PF a rough clean so as not to grind any more dirt into it.

found a couple of blown fuses, one was for the back glass lighting, and the other was for the ball eject to the shooter lane.

so basically the game is playable with no lower PF, attic PF works Fine, main PF works fine apart from one pop bumper

and one flipper is very weak.

i will have to work out whats missing from the under side of the cellar PF and get some parts.

Weak flipper will be a EOS or dirty plunger. Try cleaning the EOS and gap accordingly..

someone must have thought it needed some oil, all good now.

wiped oil off the plunger, new coil sleeve, cleaned oil off the EOS contacts.

Played a few games on it today, found if i put a few credits on and try to play more than one player

the credits disappear but no 2nd, 3rd or 4th players are added.
