Excellent read!. Thank you :)

What's your opinion of Super Spin?. There was a nice looking project one on eBay last year. that went for a decent price. Was missing the roto target. Guy said it was inside the cab and had a couple of broken petals.

I like Super Spin. When I got mine, the roto target did not spin freely. Using Clay's guide I made some adjustments and it worked fine. The other problem was the vari-target. I had to adjust it so that specials would like in the left alley.
It's a good game because there is two ways of getting specials to light.

Mate - GREAT responses - So Far - I feel like I'm watching a movie here - I'm glued to the screen  ^^^

You DON'T Like "Winner" ?  !!!

Winner annoyed me! It was not a real pinball machine to me. I only played it when there was a wait on other machines. The artwork sucked! The game sucked!

Totally agree with schematics - I cant get my head around them, worse than DIY instructions.

Thanks for a really interesting read, and well-illustrated along the way. I can see that in some ways I 'missed out' by not finding pinball until the SS era!

I am sure Marty M is itching to write up a beginner's guide to reading EM schematics!! You can always post a scan of the relevant sections of the schematic in another thread and ask questions - they will get answered.

Thanks for the positive feedback.
I'll scan some bits and pieces (newspaper articles on pinball, luna park photos, etc) and put them on a disk and bring to the expo for anyone interested.
Reading back over my answers, I just told Mrs Bossninja that I have had the Aquarius longer than her.
She tells me that men are like parking spaces - the good ones are taken and those available are handicapped.
