NEW product, Homepin Lowboy video game machine
« on: August 01, 2015, 12:51:48 PM »
I have been asked by a couple of retailers if we can build a high quality upright machine that could be sold to the "general public" for Christmas at an attractive price.

After looking around at what was available we decided that a simple lowboy style machine would fit the bill. Leaving off the coin mechanism means no coin box or coin counter as well so a further time and cost saving.

Simplified packing (when compared to the Hankin tables) and no stools supplied all helped to keep the price down.

The machines still have the full compliment of goodies that will make it stand out from many others in this price bracket such as:

19" LED 4:3 screen
Rotatable screen (4 screws) for modding to E/W games
4/8 way joystick select button
Parental lock keyswitch
full electrical compliance inc FCC
Remote controlled LED marquee lighting
Cabinet art (not shown in these pictures)
All metal parts powder coated
Front adjustable levelers (feet) and casters at the rear for easy moving
Easy access volume control and service/credit buttons inside the lockable door
....and many other things

Some pictures showing parts being made and production starting - I expect to be shipping these within a month and arriving in Australia ready for Christmas sales. We will be making them in red and blue at this stage.

Shows some of our prototypes we made to get all the little details correct. The very first proto was junked before I could take a picture.

I would be interested if you could offer Interchangable Control Panels, to suit different game types.
Defender with 2way controllers etc, Centipede with track ball etc. Just to name a couple.

We have a few control panel options that we are considering. Space doesn't permit 2 players with 6 buttons each that's for sure.

We will certainly have them built, it will be up to the retailers in Australia to buy them. You could express your interest in one to your favorite seller and see what they say?

I'd been thinking about buying a Lowboy but was never sure about the quality of what was currently on the market so these Homepin a Lowboys are excellent news.

Had a old 60'n 1 table top that I really wasn't happy with & moved it on, then Mike released the Hankin table & I was pretty keen on it. now this lowboy that suits me better, Might take a punt & hang out to see what's next,  ()
