HRP Champion Pub - Guinness Edition
« on: April 15, 2016, 08:20:46 PM »
I have been incredibly slack this year posting the projects I currently have on the go...

Here is a Champion Pub recently completed...
*Note - Nick (pinnies4me) was down for a look last weekend, and helped me troubleshoot a few bugs on this one. Thanks mate  @@*

Overview of the topside of the playfield...

Brass gold rails and topside wire-form guides...

I repainted the boxer to give a little more detail to the game...

Looks at home in here now...

Cabinet overview - the black trim really suits this title...

Powered up. The soft lighting of the traditional bulbs gives the 'local Pub' ''feel...

I added the brick panel along the back of the playfield. Without that it looks too dark...

Beautiful backglass...

Ready to 'fight'...

Under the hood...

Backside...

Tested, packed down carefully and into a crate for the journey home  ^^^

Lovely work, first class as always Tim!   @@*

Best protection in transit with that transport crate also. Great idea.

Look like you clear coated that too!
If it isn't broke, it isn't pinball.

You don't need to thank me, I got to play this awesome game!!  ^^^   I have played this game many years ago, I didn't think a lot about it at the time as the theme is not interesting to me. But playing this one (all in the interest of setting up of course!  :lol   ) showed me it is really is a fun game. The punching bag mini-playfield is fun, as is the skipping rope - when you add in the boxer, there are a few toys! Good shot lay out too, and great audio, makes for a pretty fun game.

Thanks for the kind words guys, ill dig up a few photos for you Nino in regards to how it looked before teardown. It was a Euro game from a recent container so the starting platform was 'challenging' to say the least  %.%

I think it is always a good idea to show people the starting base, so they can fully appreciate the level of detail of your work  ^^^
