Slow progress the engine builder has started piecing the engine together after many delays.  We missed the wedding deadline but on a positive note I got to drink

Looking good will be worth the wait when its all done like having a new motor. Hope you can afford to run it though petrol was probably around the 20cent mark back in the day when this thing was made. Come to think of it our wages were probably under $100 a week back then so all relevant I guess.

Yeah and it's a little bit bigger than its standard motor from back in the day 253ci to a 400ci.    Roughly 210hp from the 253 to about 500hp from the 400 he predicts

Possibly double digits if downhill with a tailwind.

Lol no he didn't.  But he did say it will be better on fuel than his engine he is building at roughly $400 to go 400 meters hahaha

Well for anyone following this the engines finally back from the mechanic.     
 480hp with 520ft/lb of torque should be able have some fun with that
