Wade Krause - repro Gottlieb Surf Champ Playfield

I have been chatting with a well known US pinball artist Wade Krause who specialises in reproduction backglasses and playfields about doing a run of 1976 Gottlieb Surf Champ / Surfer playfields.

He is open to doing a small run as he has already done alot of the hard work having already done all the machining files and art files for it as he was involved in the clear Surf Champ quite a few years ago.

Hi will only consider doing a run if he can get a minimum of 20 orders. Cost would be approximately $650 USD + another $50 for postage in the US and unknown for shipping to Aus - guessing another $200. Time frame would be roughly 18 - 24 months as he has other projects already booked in and he is a one man show and a perfectionist. So at a guess Dec 2018 to June 2019.

For me I am wanting a Surf Champ playfield as mine has alot of planking so would love a minty fresh one.

I've asked Wade a couple times about Surf Champ - around the time I was looking to upgrade Andy's playfield. I had another customer ask about the "downgraded" game, and we agreed to wait for Wade to do this title. I enjoy his videos and love his attention to detail. I have a Fast Draw that he did and also a couple Sky Jumps - one going into my personal game.

Was the playfield in the previous game that I was not happy with. Lots of planking. But I had another on the way, that was better - that's the one we used in your game. The first game will get one of Wade's playfields.
