A long time pinny tragicmc and a recent trip to vegas to the pinball museum got me highly motovated to buy 1. Some fast time reasearch and somehow ended up with 3 fairly quickly. Was keen to represent the 70's 80's and 90's. first up was a playmate big town - 70's. I know playmatic (Spanish) not that popular but got a great price for a v clean working machine. Took me a while to find a match for the drop targets but now it's all sorted. Second was a wiliams road kings - 80's. This was sourced for me by amusement works and with LEDs it's a light show. The third was a spontaneous eBay auction bid for a data east Star Trek (23"5th anniversary). Bought sight unseen and was a little worried but it is great. A couple of switch issues when I picked it up - one which resulted in endless multiball which whilst fun is exhausting ! A AP member helped me resolve that one - thanks Riverinapb!! Although I'm no mechanic or technician I love to fix stuff so having the top up on the big town to put in new drop targets and sort out a light switch issue is as much fun as playing them. I'm sure I will be posting adk Ng for help and hopefully I can assist others from what I pick up. I do need to outsource the lawn mowing now though! Cheers Peter.

Very rare to find a pinhead with just ONE game. Nothing wrong with Playmatic or Recel games - I have a Fandango, and one day I'll restore it. Playfield is immaculate.

My golden rule is never to impulse buy. Rare to find a "good" story when that happens ! But it is always a good learning process.

Great intro, pinball breeds despite your best efforts!
“If you wanna escape, go up to a pinball machine. There’s a magic button on the front that takes you to a world under the glass and makes the the rest of the universe disappear.”
