More soldering today.

The switch matrix's under the playfield was todays job.  I've done the lower pf already and the one which was in the cabinet (was smashed) has been repaired as well.

Time consuming job as I do each wire at a time as not to mix anything up.

I'm not 100% sure what happened to it originally, seems that maybe some of them cooked?

Lower playfield is completed.

Upper playfield is 3/4 completed.  I need a couple of rubber rings (which I'll grab from Mark tomorrow hopefully).

Plastics to be polished and straightened then its just a waiting game for the cabinet....   !!!

Upper playfield now back together.

Mine did not have the acorn nuts on top, instead the white rubbers.  I've ordered some so I'll let it go back to stock.  I've replaced a wire gate on the lower pf (hand made previously) and I've swapped out a few coil plungers which were not correct either.

So, overall I've brought the game (mechanically) back to stock as best I can and added ground mods, brand new Ni-Wumph board, uprgraded power supply, driver board is like new anyway, all new pop bumper boards, new playfield transistors, pull up resistors added, new coil sleeves all round, new diodes on every coil, every mechanical piece removed, cleaned, lubed, all switch matrix diodes replaced...

New wiregate assembly added to lower pf (thx MarkC)...

Now is just waiting game for my cabinet!....

Great job Marty, great to see another BH in the group - not sure if it's up to date, but seems to be seven of them among our members http://aussiepinball.com/index.php?topic=380.0

Started work on the coin door today.

Given a clean (in dishwasher)...Luckly the missus wasn't home!

Brasso and scrub to come....

Would love to put some coin mechs in this.  Can you source mechanical $1.00 mechs or non-existant?

Hehe, that was the before shot....Had been cleaned with mixture of windex/isocol and scrubbed with brush.  Was fairly clean to start with!

Only the door skin and coin flap went in dishwasher!

Progress shot...
