TAF playfield damage is normal for a machine that has suffered from continual use. There are three magnets under the playfield in those exact wear areas "Magnet burn".

Just image the ball flying and then the magnet activates, arresting the ball "on the spot" - It tends to wear those areas out.

We are talking about a very popular and "very played " pinball machine !

does anyone know if the montew carlo machine that was sold at auction at the sydney expo actually got sold. i saw it said it was referred to the buyer because the bidder's prive was too slow. so did the buyer get it or is it still available for purchase? if anyone knows please let me know? thanks

I think it was a Pinball Mania machine - so best bet would be to get in touch with them.

It wasn't terrible, but the backglass needed a bit of work.
