Time to open up the can of worms.

Seriosuly, do you guys actually rate Gorgar?

Sorry Peter  #@#

It LOOKS awesome and the sounds it puts out (especially pumped up) really set it off but is it much of a player? Can remember the first time I played it at Goddards in Sydney when they just pulled it out of the box.... *%*

Do you think there are many Bally and Stern pins (and even Gottlieb) from that era that really measure up and are much better games to play.

What are your thoughts?  !*!

I know I will upset at least one member who has a really nice example of a Gorgar  #@#

I don't rate it even close to a Bally/Stern/Gottlieb of the same era. I'm not a fan of the System 4/6 machines.

However, Flash is 10X better as a player. I can play Flash for hours - as it plays more like a classic Bally than a Williams.

They are all excellent pins and all classics for their time and I also really rate Flash.

Once again playing Paul's last night really brought back alot of memories for alot of people. This was such a hot title when it was released and for years after.

Ya know I think it gets back to what I call "owning a pinball for arts sake". Visually its one of the best looking machines ever made, and sounds awesome as well. Just walking into a room or shed and seeing Gorgar all lite-up.........well thats hard to top.
Flash ticks the boxes in all departments, good art and terrific gameplay.

Now here's one to dare mention as well: Haunted House is a looker but to quote Spurr last nite............."man this thing is on valium!" For gameplay I just dont rate the thing. I played one in exceptional condition recently and was soooooooo disapointed. Since then I have been speaking with guys about HH, and all have said the same thing, its so slow and tedious.

Having said that..........I would pay alot of money for a nice HH because the way it looks and sounds really grabs me.  *%*
