And I bet any member that does buy one to restore it will shove it to the very end of the que of jobs to be done and in my case never *.*

Hmmm, if he halved the prices I would be more interested. But I reckon for $290 and $490 someone will bid just for the sake of owning a pinball machine (or another).

I think we should establish an AP Annual Restorer's Award!!  The restoration that shows the biggest difference from before & after would be declared the winner - or something like that.

This Pro Football would be the perfect candidate  ^^^

The ProFootball has a 'buy it now' price of $700!! Tell him he's dreamin.
I bought a disassembled Pro Football for $500 off ebay and was in 10 times better condition.
However, if the seller is prepared to let this one go at a reasonable price to someone who could restore it, it will be another machine saved.
Wanted: GTB Aquarius backglass. Any playfield bits and backglasses from any EMs - nothing is junk to me.

Wow Nino, the wood rot combined with the shitty white spray paint definitely have this one in the running!!
So how far have you got with it, any progress since the PF refurb?

Only minor work to the underside of the playfield. I simply have not had the time to repray, and Dad has all the professional equipment to paint the cabs, but he has been unwell. We are planning to do a few cabinets over the coming months. It will come together very quickly, as everything around it has been done.

I spoke to the guy this arvo, I am not even going to look at these machines.

I reckon he thinks he can turn back the reccession with the sale of these two machines.

He kept on going about how these machines go for $2000 on ebay.

I am really sick of dreamers lately.

Cheers Angelo
