Help needed with LED mod for The Shadow Ring lights
« on: June 16, 2009, 11:46:10 AM »
Hi all!

Just wondering if anyone out there has any experience with knocking up a basic LED circuit ( LED bulb + resistor ) and fitting into the ring lights on a Shadow machine?

I only have one of my ring lights working at the moment and I realise you can still track down the globes but thought I would try and get something that would last longer.

Cheers,

Chris

Well done, always feels good to get a win over a pinball machine.

I'm unfamiliar with the machine, so don't understand what you mean "not a big win" I think it looks good. Do they normally look better or something???
Still loving my Metallica Premium

Oh.. I mean not a big win in terms of the actual task itself.. I mean most people would probably consider it an easy mod but for me.. most pinball tasks are difficult :)

Just happy to do a few things without assistance.. gives me a bit of a buzz.

In terms of how they look.. definate improvement I think.. and should last a whole lot longer than those miniature lamps that are probably getting harder to find.
