Cute looking game, good pick up.

Thanks guys, it was Shangri La that I really wanted but I got distracted by the bloody origin game and badly timed my sniper bid :(  This was my second choice, I know it's a bit of a snoozer game but we'll see.

Anyhow, from the photos the guy sent me yesterday the BG seems to be the worst part of the machine, without even seeing the back of it I can only imagine how badly it must flaking.  The PF actually looks to be in quite good nick but I'll start a resto thread with pics next week when the machine arrives.

All up including door to door shipping it's costing me $851 and I have to say even after we're all bagging the prices on fleaBay, for the Sydney market eBay prices aren't too bad.  I've been speaking with Sydney pinball dealers over the last couple of weeks and I stand by buying on eBay because these guys were quoting me $800 for totally trashed basket cases or at least $1,000 for machines with badly worn PFs.

Pinnie prices are definitely cheaper interstate.

Great work Evro!

Not often seen game and I have only seen one other in the last 20 years and that is in storage.

Ahhhhhhh, another Gottlieb EM being rescued  *%*

Have always liked the art on this game - the blues make it look cool

A really helpful guy from the USA (Peter McDonald http://www.zpinaddict.com/pballhtm/pinball.htm) was able to email me a PDF of the schematic for this machine.  He has owned a shitload of pinballs (mostly EMs) and has quite a large stockpile of manuals & schematics if anyone is interested.

I invited him to join our little group, he should be quite an asset over here :)

He he... I just got another reply from Peter and he says:

"I just checked out the aussie pinball site.  Looks pretty good.  I bookmarked it and will stop by once in a while.  I have exchanged e-mails and help with Tony (pinballoz) in Australia for about 10 years.  Is he part of the site?"
