Pascal Janin's System 80 All in One Board
« on: June 29, 2009, 11:08:56 AM »
Pretty excited to see the big box turn up! Here's my new system 1 all in one, same for Daniel, and to the right the new System 80 almost all in one (no sound board yet). A daughter board provision is there for the sound board at a later stage, for now you will need to use your original sound board (and sound board power supply).

At the moment about half the system 80 games are on board. Once Pascal has completed coding for the rest, the MPU daughter board can be returned for updating.

I can't wait for mine ! I'll be ordering a couple as a minimum, but I will wait until the code for "Spirit" is done. Thanks for the pictures, Pascal certainly does a great job !

Yep, board looks well designed and it is very helpful to have a product like this available as tracking down boards in the first place and then fixing them if required ain't always easy.

At least with this you have something that should last years with no maintenance, hopefully.

We just popped one into the Close Encounters - two seconds to select game and all done! These things are special. Looking forward to eventually getting the system 80 up and running in HH, although that's going to be a long term project, so I suspect Rollerball will have his running before mine.
