Sniping Software
« on: July 08, 2009, 09:24:02 PM »
The snipe bid is placed by the sniper server, some have a small subscription fee so that there is also a backup server if something goes wrong with the first server - they guarantee your bid will be placed 100% if you subscribe or about 99.5% if you use the free version.

After reading that quote I started to think about what software was out there. We love google, but there's way too much to sift through.

So you you snipers - any recommendations/experiences to share about software you have tried?

The free version places your bid 8 seconds from the auction end. Never failed me yet.

I use one called auction sentry.  Cost me about $20 but was well worth it.  I set the bid to 3 seconds and it has never failed.
