My Last Action Hero resto
« on: November 04, 2008, 08:11:28 PM »
I thought I would post some before / after pics of my LAH.  A BIG thankyou to all the members here who have patiently assisted me.  I have also replaced fuse holders on power board, repaired aux PCB (just waiting on parts) and repaired PPB board.  All thats left is to locate a set of decals for the drop targets (arcade overlays has some but not sure if they ship o/s)...Other than that its pretty much done.  I would not really call it a resto, firstly as I have seen photos and read what some of the members here do and well frankly I feel ashamed  %$% as mine is not a resto but really a 'shop out' I guess and secondly although dirty, MarkC did sell me a nice machine!

Anyway here are some pics!

Hehehe,

I remember seeing a young bloke looking quite bewildered with all the cool pins, bits n pieces around!

Yep, backbox came up OK.  Paint match isn't perfect...Just waiting to see what type Mark uses!

I didn't have any good before shots, but here are a couple for you anyway...

Marty - never sell yourself short - we all started somewhere and all you need is a passion and some patience. Once you catch the bug and gain some confidence, you might surprise yourself !

The fact that you WANT to do it - is a great start.

Thats a great Pinball you have picked up "as is"/ Funny thing about Childs/MarkC's Pins - their "as is" machines look BETTER than other dealers "shopped" pins... So the "canvas" you are working with will turn out to be a masterpiece..

Keep the updates coming !
