First thing i did was check all the coils and good news thay all tested fine.   Then following clays guide i tested the power supply which also tested good  @@*.    Then moved onto the Driver board and guess what everything tested good aswell  $#$.  The lamp drive board has some nasty corrosion on it so i didnt bother testing that.  All these boards will be rebuilt and upgraded where needed before being re installed.  So i decided id clean up the headbox first.

After stripping everything out ive cleaned the aliminium up with some windex on a rag then hit it with novus 2 for a bit if shine beeing careful not to damage the original paperwork.

This is one of the only machines left out of Rollerball's amazing collection.

Why does it need to go another website if it's already here?  !@#

Isn't this the reason why we are all here? To see these great restore jobs on AP?

How good is that Daniel ?

I was going to document either the Strikes and Spares or the Genie. Luckily, I picked the Genie  %.%

Great progress so far, it will look awesome when finished.

Well i spent last night Repinning the driver board with all new pins adding the new HV section, 5V section and doing the earth mods as suggested. Only missing the new HV capacitor but its been ordered.

Ill be sitting down tonight and repining all the plugs in the headbox have about 1/4 done already  (Fiddly Job but will be worth it in the end)

Well i got all the plugs on the backbox loom repined except for the display plugs and all fitted back in.  Hopefully i get the playfield and cabinet plugs done tomorrow. Some of the plugs were very badly corroded so i removed them completely and gave them a Vinegar bath to neutralise the acid.   To help get the wires in the right spot firstly i wrote down the color codes and as i removed them from the plug i poked them through a piece of paper holiding them in there correct order seemed to work well  ^^^
