what do you mean stop..... like going cold turkey....  Pinballs like a drug   " were do l score the next one"

not worried about where or when the next one comes along... Its more a point of - "where do I put it" ???

at this stage I'm just happy to take what comes along, not really searching for anything in particular
apart from a Strikes and Spares, but not really searching for it, one will show up one day.

I hope I never loose the love of collecting pins.  I recon it will be as bad as the day you have a soft cock.
I have 10 pinballs now having just added another (restore job) and even with these I still want the following:
Kiss, Strikes & Spares, Playboy, Lost in Space, Klondike, Haunted House, Black Hole, Flying Turns, Hercules, and any others I can get a hold of, only problem $$$ and space. :D

I don't think you ever stop chasing the elusive pin you haven't got.
I've got 16 pins and thought I would be happy with four at one stage.  There is always another you would love to have.
After cramming up the back room and filling the garage, I convinced my wife to put an extention on to house all the pins and clean up the garage.  Well now that room is full and there's still four pins in the garage.  Maybe the threat of divorce is the only time to stop collecting, it has been for me,  ooohhhh but I still want a MM, TOTAN and a nice MB...and a junkyard would be good too.

Weird thing is having more is not a better thing IMO.

My gamesroom had 48 pins set up about 2 years ago, I'm lucky that I have the space but one day I just clicked and thought this is stupid and sold off about 18 of them. Having close to 50 pins looks very impressive but when will be a time when they all will be played?

Also the much larger problem of keeping the damn things all working 100%

Have not regretted for a minute unloading all those games.

Still like any pin collector I'm always on the hunt for some more games to strengthen the the collection. After getting 12 'new' games in this year I felt that is enough restoration for years and years.....so what happens...the bug bites again and you start looking for the next hit.

Have 3 more pins being lined up for early 2009.....one from the early 50s and 2 mid 60s classics....

The last pinball I do will be the one I am buried in. Don't worry, as long as I'm healthy, I will always be working with machines !

BTW - How is your restore going ?

How about a thread !
