Well if "rare" means I hardly get to play them these days, then they're rare I guess.
Pretty standard games really, but it's hard to go wrong with pinball isn't it?

In order of acquisition:
Sharpshooter (free plus parts & labor = saved from the landfill)
Pin Bot (recently sold off) (bought fully working because Sharpshooter took too long to get going. I was jonesing man!)
Secret Service (not working as-purchased. It was a 25-cent capacitor! Then I restored it. Really fun game)
Big Indian and Doodle Bug (inexpensive package deal. My introduction into EM. Both are "working" now but awaiting full restoration)
Twilight Zone (pretty good deal for a project. It works but I will be fully restoring it with new cabinet decals, 3rd magnet and full set of NOS plastics. Also a fun game, duh)
Sweet Hearts (free "family connection" deal but paid to have it hauled here. Recently got it working and can play a game... Yaaay!)
Nitro Groundshaker (Fixed up & delivered so no longer my ward) (not my game, but I promised to fix it for the owner - my brother. What a GREAT backglass!)

In The Works...
Pioneer (Have a line on one and it may be in da house in a couple weeks)

New page is uploaded and I corrected the above link. ISP is shifting their crap around and just can't find a way to keep the old web address. Idiots. Should I thank them for that? Uugh.

Interesting "different" collection, great to see Vinito! I posted some stuff on the SS thread too.

That's a diverse collection.. Nice to see EMs mixed in with DMDs.

NG is an awesome game with really cool artwork.

Glad you folks like the eclectic too. The first pin I played as a kid was a brand new Spirit of 76 at the local bowling alley. Pins usually speak to our sentimental memory and that's true for me too. I had to get an EM eventually.

By the way, I looked at the Sweet Hearts today and fiddled with it until it was working! There were a few minor adjustments I needed to make, but the main problem turns out to be that I had a pair of connectors switched in the backbox. That's another thing you gotta love about EMs - in an SS game that would undoubtedly fried something expensive.

I have one problem rollover feature to figure out, but otherwise the game is 100%, though pretty dirty and with very "seasoned" rubber. I played a few games. It's a good one! I was surprised at how snappy it is for such an old game.

Oh, noooo. I might be adding another one.
I talked to a guy I know who has a Gtb. Pioneer he's tired of tripping over. At first he pointed out a couple "on the net" that were listed at $1995 and another for $3200. Way inflated of course. I guess those guys are just trying to give an impression of inflated value so they might get the high price out of the other stuff they may really sell. Anyways...

I pointed him to the Boston Pinball eBay sales summary (click) and explained the more realistic pinball market to him, then told him if he wanted more I could try to help him.

Well he said he was a little disappointed to find that out but he might sell it anyway at $400. That I might could live with. Pioneer (or the 4-player Spirit of '76) is my particular "nostalgic hook" game. I cut my pinball teeth on one at the local bowling alley when I was a kid. That would be pretty cool if this works out.

Aaargh! Like I need another pin around here. But that is one that is extremely high on my personal want list and I'd be happy to unload two of my other EMs if I hauled the Pioneer home. Probably trade the Big Indian and Doodle Bug out if I got the Pioneer in here.

What an awesome cross section of pins  ^^^

Being an EM guy there are 2 classics in that lot - Gottlieb Sweethearts and Williams Doodle Bug.

Would give my right nut for a Sweethearts and you got the thing for FREE  *%*

Can remember playing DB growing up and once the DB feature was lit all you would hear was one of your mates yell out 'GET THE F**KING DOODLE BUG'  :lol :lol
