Yup, she plays like new.  Me and the lovely played the first proper game on it tonight.  Love it.  Great fun.  Had to adjust the pop bumpers a bit, but now she's running on all 8 cylinders!

Unfortunately she is still talking about a Shrek...(Mark!!!!!!!!! - "Oh, there's a Shrek over there, why not play a game?")

With some spare time on my hands, I decided I didn't like the LED headlamps on the police car.  They were this off-yellow colour and not really bright.  I picked up some hyper-bright white LED's from Jaycar and replaced them.  Unfortunately the photo cannot do it justice, but they are BRIGHT.  Basically light up area as if they were real headlights!   I may replace the red ones with some brighter ones too.  Just to freshen it up a little.

Is the left headlight out (do they alternatively flash?) or is it just the angle/flash or something?

Great to see people adding "their own touch" to personalise their pins, also making up for what was lacking in the original design.

They both flash on diagonals with the red lights on top (if that makes sense - ie left top light to right head light) and vise versa.  Then they will change up and all flash at once.  IT was very difficult to take even one photo..!

I guess the quality of LED's back in 1989 were not as good as today...

Yep, LEDs have come a LONG way since way back then, when they were merely designed as panel-status indicators.
Now they seem to be more about illumination, and damn bright.

What an awesome looking pin! Looks like you had a pretty tidy game to start with.

I can remember when this game was on location and it got a heap of coin pumped into her!

It was a real gem to start with.  The playfield was in A1 condition....Once the electrical bugs were sorted its a great game.  I really enjoy playing it and its definately a keeper!

Thanks for that!  I will have an update for the PF at the end of the week.  The apron has been done, new decal and cleared.  My spray painter who did it is very happy with it.   I will take some pics and upload once I get it...

Apron is done.  Took a little while, but worth the wait.

The original was fine, but paint screen print had started to wear right in the middle.  Decal set ordered and he's done his best to blend the clear so there is no sticker line.  I know what I've done isn't stock, but I think the apron is something everyone sees and is important to look schmick..
