Campbellfield aution results
« on: December 07, 2008, 11:26:26 PM »
Went to Campbellfield this afternoon for an auction (mixed pinball and arcade games auction). Over half the pins had been rerubbered and were pretty clean, others were in fair to so-so condition. They all appeared to be working OK, although I didn't have enough time to get around to all of them.

These are the final bids - keep in mind that with the buyers' premium and GST you need to add 15.5% to get the final price, which added $310 to a $2000 bid, and $620 to a $4000 bid, and so on.

Thanks for the report.. I gather there was a good turnout ?

Will be interesting to see if the games are still on the floor in a couple of weeks time..

I'm not a huge fan of auctions  #@#

Best of luck to them tho..

Reasonable crowd of 200+ which thinned considerably as the afternoon wore on. From my perspective, this looked like a genuine auction with no funny business. There were reserves on 4 pins which were all passed in, but apart from those everything sold on the fall of the 'hammer'. Some of the pins seemed a bit pricey for an auction, others may have represented good buying.

Bumped into a few people from this and other forum.

I just sold a HUO BSD for $2600, still with original williams toolkit and spare slings inside. Although BSD is growing in popularity, its not worth those dollars.
