Has anybody ever heard or used these guys http://transdirect.com.au, according to their website they do door to door with tailgate loading at each end.

+1 to these guys. I bought a pin in NSW and brougt it to Melb. Strapped tightly to the side of the truck and very well covered. A1 imo. Door to door.

Try backloads.com.au

They are furniture removalists who do backloads at a very competitive price and take great care.
