Backglass Lift Channel Removal

Hi Guys

Does anyone has any tips on the removal of a backglass Lift Channel?

I want to remove the existing lift channel and put it on my NOS backglass of Devils Dare.

I pushed really hard on both ends to try and get it off or even started but it didnt even budge. I was concerned I may snap or shatter the old glass everywhere so I stopped and thought I'd ask this group.

Looking at it from the ends I see that it tapers back quite a bit to "grip" the glass. Maybe I should buy a new one and forget about it?

Thay are not easy to get off, mainly cos they have double sided tape on them also... this needs to be cut awat with a razor before you have any chance of getting it off

Id suggest a new one save damaging the old glass would look better on my wall than smashed    A guy sells them on ebay and they are great i think i added his details to my strikes and spares restore thread ill see if i can find it
