A GREAT effort in cabinet restoration. I'd love to see the machine in person as it is a little too "red", it should be more of an "Orange/Red". Could be the camera.

Drop Targets should be Red "tombstone". I don't understand why such an effort was made with the cabinet, without restoring the playfield to match ? Could have been a much better result for the restorer - However - I DO think this is one of the better KISS machines I've seen, and kudos for the low starting bid.

Will be very interesting considering a very poor KISS fetched $4500 last week.

Over rated machine and over the top price. Played and fixed it when new and it didn't ring any bells. It's ONLY value is the perceived "kiss" value

Pffttt - waste of money IMO - much better machines for half the money (sorry if I offend any kiss machine owners here but that's the way it goes)

Yea amazing on the PB!

Let's see how high they go. Not sure why they start so low. Big risk or some behind the scenes action!

Hi Guys, Not sure here but I think I have seen these pictures before of the Playboy and the Kiss machines.

When I log onto ebay on the bottom of the page is an ad for barrywnj in the states.

His photo in the ad popup looks like the exact same playboy pictured. Also he has a Kiss a couple of weeks ago with a very red cabinet and looks very similar to the photos for this kiss. Also the photos use a similar technique with the blacking around the machine. What do you think?  !@#

Aaahhh Grasshopeer should read the auction details a bit more carefully. So the auctions advises it is the same machine that came from the states / Barry? OK

Still not sure about the Kiss pictures though.

I can't exactly remember the photos's, but, I do remember a lot of the wording to describe the KISS machine from last year sometime. Either it's been copied, or it's the same guy, or it's the same machine??. Probably don't mean much but kinda weird?? !@#
Ah who f**king cares there it is, if you want it bid for it, I gotta stop thinking about this kind of stuff. %.%

IMO Be very cautious with Barry

KISS - $7100

Playboy - $5302

congrats to the seller - and there's the proof that restored machines from this era sell VERY well. Both had scope for more improvement, so these would be baseline prices for a restored machine.

KISS sold for a better price than a CV, and the Playboy sold for a better price than a SS/ToTAN  ^&^
