Game plays excellent, one minor issue though...when the Monger starts to lower into the playfield you can hit it and the ball can get lodged in and you will have to wait for it to do a ball search before it raises up and the ball releases.  Layout is something like an uncluttered Spiderman, the ramps (yer I'm biased) are great and very smooth.  The right ramp is somewhat steep and takes a good clean shot to make it all the way around.  The center shot is very good as it is narrow and makes for a little challenge.  The magnet throwback in front of Monger is fantastic! It's fast but it's also clean and very playable.  Great lighting.  Only played a couple games so I haven't gotten that deep into the rule set though I can say it's no where near as deep as a LOTR.  Multiballs are easy to get but they aren't too frequent that they get boring.  Overall at this time I give the machine an 8.5 easy (an 8 on my scale is a keeper).

Here's the link to Youtube vid...

Thanks for sharing - sure looks like fun!

You know, I've only just come to really respect what Stern has been doing these past ten years. In fact, it was the release of this game that made me start to think about it. Despite all the difficulties it has faced (closure of competitor hurting overall industry, home arcades, global financial crisis etc etc), and after seeing how much pain it was for Gene to bring us BBB, and the abject failure of the new MMs, Gary has just kept it going through thick and thin, and produced some great games as well.

Hats off to the guy!!

Thanks for posting the vids  ^^^ Looks to be an awesome title, and from the sounds of it, this will be a winner for Stern. It DOES remind me of a Spiderman - the graphics are VERY cool and I love the lighting. I think this is a great release.

BTW - James - you can embed the youtube video by clicking the "youtube" button and pasting the link.

I'm looking forward to playing this machine  $#$

Yea, if and when he finally gets that "air freighted" machine delivered.  It may be quicker for you to take the trip here to Florida and play ours.   :lol :lol :lol
