Was a HUGE talking point on the radio this morning. I have no interest in the "sport" of boxing, but the general consensus was that his "hanger-ons" have been giving him the wrong advise for the last 4-5 years and his opportunities in the USA are not good due to his comments on 9/11.

I must admit I enjoy listening to Danny Green and the promotion of boxing is very professional.

Actually - his PEANUT sized brain has been giving his fat mouth the WRONG WORDS to push out for about the last 36 years. Nothing to do with his advisers - I dont believe this ARROGANT   would take advice from ANYONE.

Apart from Danny Green - this idiot has beaton NO-ONE of any worthiness and he has selected duds to fight against.
The only 2 blokes he has fought of any note ( apart from the Green fight ) - have BOTH dropped him

I dont mind Anthony Mundine. He has done alot of good charity work for alot of kids hospitals etc. Behind the scenes, when the cameras are away, the real Mundine seems to be very different to the talker which stirs it up for boxing promotion.

Firstly, at least he isnt on the dole bludging like so many others are. I like the fact that he has had a go and made some good money. I watched a documentary and he has spent alot of his money on town halls and sports clubs for kids etc. Because he has done alot for the kids hospitals and various kids charitys, I say good on him for getting the spotlight and making some money which has helped others.

If he does get to go to the USA and he gets to have a shot at a USA title, he will at least be representing Australia, so I hope he gives the yanks a run for their money.
At least for the good of Australia.

Love him or hate him, he does give the sport some good exposure. It's a pity he could not live up to the hype he created. At best, he is a good/average boxer. Nothing more. Doesn't even rate in Australias top 10 boxers of all time. Just another hack!
