Round the world with 80 pinballs
« on: March 03, 2011, 11:28:58 AM »
Yes,the start of my collection is a fact. Just got my first 2 pinballs in.  #*#

Lethal weapon 1992 data east
Harley davidson 1991 Bally

I was just thinking,if I wanna fill the container before the big move (about 19 months from now) i have to get about 1 pinball a week.  ^&^

So I cant be to picky ,and they are not all going to be in great condition.
But thats the fun of it,its a hobby so we got something to do.

Thanks

Hans

I guess there are a few things to consider.

1 - Do you have a budget in mind for these machines ? Keep in mind you will have freight, customs clearance, freight forwarders, Shipping and GST charges.

2 - Will you be keeping all machines in your collection ? Will some be projects for you to restore and sell ?

3 - Do you favor DMD / SS or EMs ?

Sounds like you have an interesting project ahead of you  ^^^

Yes I have tought about that:

1 - dont want to get real deer new ones, container i own and 1 price for compete shipping door to door and NO GSt for me (1 time only)

2 - From the (about) 80 I will be keeping about 30,10 use for trade, about 6 of them I will give away (have had a lot of help in OZ) and the rest i will sell for cost.

3 - I love them all

(also bringing over a couple of FOTOPLAY'S thats a touchscreen arcade style machine, and some one armdbandits)

 *%*    Its a big project

Can't say I've put too much time into Lethal Weapon but I have enjoyed a few games on Harley Davidson.

Nice start!! Keep up the good work. If you find a nice cheap Cue Ball Wizard let me know.

Id be careful with the one armed bandits they may get pulled up in customs would be great to have a few more in the country but the fun police might take them and no one wants them pricks to have them lol.      I would love to get my hands on a penny arcade machine like an Alwin clown or even a clockface  && if you have them available at your end????

Personaly I'd be bringing across more EM or SS pins dealers have heaps of DMD rubbish available already I'm sure the EM and SS would sell well ( specially if you take cash and tell the wife you gave them to me for helping you unload the container lol)

Certainly some interesting titles in there as well as some classics. You have made a great start!

Williams Space Shuttle I have spent some time on and it was a lot of fun.

Or a shotgun pellet away?

I saw a Dungeons and Dragons for the first time last year and it did look like it could be fun.

Mate, it is already gone... I wouldn't worry in the slightest.

That pin container is coming together nicely! Keep the updates coming.
