RFM, Price?

I have forgotten the price for a Revenge From Mars with the pinball market dropping and rising constantly.
What would you pay in good condition?

What you're willing to pay I guess.  Dealers expect anywhere between $2800 to $4000+

Private $2000 (as is) at the low end to $3500 for a mint one.

I purchased a Revenge from Mars, in a "as is" condition, straight from a container for around $2,000/$2200 recently.

All i did was -
* Re-rubber and re-globe the machine. 99 percent of the original rubbers n globes were perfect.
* Gave the machine a playfield strip down and clean/polish to make it like brand new.
* The machine had no faults at all. The machine had little use during its life, and all coils and flippers were strong with no play or wear.
* The machine does need redecalling to make it perfect.
* The monitor and computer worked perfectly.

The $2200 to $2500 will get u a machine like the one mentioned above, before the work is done.

$2500 to $2700 shld get u one finished like the one above with the 12 hours of work done.

$2700 to $3500 will get u one fully finished but with original decals in home use condition, or one which has been redecalled.  

Speak to Mark C from PSP who has excellent RFM's in stock, unshopped, or speak to Oscar who also has unshopped RFM's in stock.

eGay and private sales would be more of a guide at the moment. A private machine in good condition may be around the $2200 - $2500.

up to 3000 to 4500 including new flipper kits, cab art/ and coin door/ side rails, new legs, no errors ,fully shopped and polished and waxed playfield,  /cliffy protectors if needed, new martians, LEDs
new balls, new leg levellers, new ramps, new plastics, new rubbers   AND the pf glass better be 100%

There are alot of RFM's that never got much use. Mark had several that were in amazing condition straight from the container.
I practically had to do nothing to my one.
The great thing about the market today, is that you can view everything before purchase and pick a great one.
Plenty of photos available from both sellers. Cant go wrong with that.
Even brand new decals are available relatively cheap thru Wayne. Got to share the love $ around.lol

I watched a youtube clip and it seemed quite boring coz you hit the same targets for each mode.

They are fun, and quite an amazing bit of technology for its time. But it does get quite repetitive. Would not say it gets boring if you like the humour, but the shots are limited somewhat. Certainly the better of the p2K games though.

Revenge from Mars is a fun game for sure. I own both RFM and SW Episode1. You cant go wrong with either.
In some ways, Star Wars Episode 1 is better i reckon because it has more features than RFM and because Lucas Light and Film (Star Wars creator George Lucas) was involved with the design and the audio and visual effects are much improved. Being the second Pin2000 game, Star Wars is a better package. But dont get me wrong, RFM is a great game as well.

You really need to play both games for a good hour or two before you decide. Find a member in your area who has either of the Pin2000 games and give them a good play.
To save arguments, I just bought both as keepers. I think you will be impressed if u play a good version of each.
