A serious lack of playfield photos MIGHT keep the end price low.  !@#

Still, these Atari Superman's always look the goods.  Anyone got any playfield photos from the seller ?  Looks like it could be a good resto project.

Anyone here bidding ?  &&  Looks like its worth a bid.  ^^^

I will be keeping a close eye on it and will probably throw in a bid.  Yeah I have got one already but there is a chance that between the two machines I could end up with one nicer one and then on sell the 2nd machine.

Biggest problem with these machines are the boards and lack of spare parts.  I did find one shop in the US that stocks the original flipper bushings - 3 bushings were going to cost me $2.58, shipping was almost $45......I don't think so.  I asked for cheaper shipping and got no reply.

Great looking game, never played one though.

Anyone got an opinion on playing quality?

Personally I really like it.  He's a big old widebody but can play surprisingly quick.  Good bank of drop targets that typically lead the ball draining, a couple of spinners, plenty of stand up targets to hit.
Hold on....what am I saying.  It is a POS and no-one should waste their time bidding on it.

Extra pics added to the listing.  I can see why the seller didn't put them up originally.  I don't think I will be bidding after seeing the pics.

This is what the playfield should look like.  I am not trying to be smart - just giving anyone thinking about this machine an idea of the work needed on the playfield.

The ebay one does have considerable wear around the pop bumpers for sure.

I didnt notice it at first.   *click on the photo below and it will double in size for a closer view.

Yeah, it's a shame really.  The inserts above the flippers look ordinary as well, hard to tell whether it is old mylar or whether the inserts themselves are bad.  The city plastic above the drop targets is damaged as well and are very hard to replace.  There was a guy in the US selling them but I'm not sure if he has any left.

How nice does the perfect PF look?

This would come up good, but it does need work.... based on this, id say its  on the money already
