Good stuff - is this one a keeper?

No. Although I like the game - and played it last night  :D I have to sell it as I have a VERY long restoration queue and I have more coming. I have been asked if I'm interested in operating it, but I won't be doing that (with this machine anyway).

Tensikka - Thanks for the kind words. My clear advantage is that I started off with a REALLY nice machine that didn't need major work. I saw your machine and from the pictures, it looked like it had a hard life. That would be an interesting restore to document - I'd like to see how well the game looks after restoration.

I'll post some pics when time / project continues. Now I'm working with DH "deep cleaning", it will also go on route. Here some pics of that, sorry if there is some descriptions in Finnish, don't remember what I have wrote there.

I usually sit down a calculate what the game owes me from a parts and labour perspective.  There's a Theater on eBay right now for $6,900. Dealers list them for between $4500 - $5500.

Mine will be considerably less and is argueably "Collector's Quality". I do it "for fun", not to make monsterous profits.

On the home stretch.. More LEDs. A question was raised about LED placement. This is all new to me, and I'm a firm beleiver that LEDs are not for all games. This game looks simply "magic" with LEDs. I think Circus Voltaire will also look great with LEDs. Greg has been giving me great advise in this area, and it is still a "work in progress", but we agree that it is coming along nicely.

Here's a shot of the translite - which looks incredible in the dark ;

The flash spoils it, so I'll try for another picture when I'm done, but you can really see the greens, the highlighted saw and the name looking really good. This was the layout (flash off).

Some really easy final steps. The second ramp is cleaned, polished and fitted. The Basement assembly that Marty assisted with is working 100%. Now all I have to do is fit some neww decals ;

These are really high quality decals. They really do set the game up nicely.

Playfield is finished ! All the habit trails are buffed and hand polished. Run all the simple tests - install four NEW and polished balls. Here's the playfield completed !

Flash on

Flash off - with the LEDs really looking awesome

I've play tested the game and it plays 100%. I have to make a few adjustements and I'll be 100% happy.

That is a sweet looking machine. The LEDs add some kind of mood/warmth. Great work Nino.

This has been a great read Nino - job well done.
Any chance of doing CV next?..

ps - not a fan of the leds though. I've only experienced playing just the one pinnie decked out with leds (CFTBL @ The Northcote Club).
I can vouch that playing the pinnie in a dark place like this, they do work great in providing so much light. But for home use, a room light switched on and an unchanged pinnie works for me.

The backbox are different colored standard GI LEDs. Greg supplied these ;

Flashers were also LEDs, but I can't find them on Greg's site right now.

I had no experience with LEDS until this game. Thankfully, Greg brought a heap of them and we just experimented until we found the best fit.

CV won't be next  !!! as I have to do a WCS 94' and Whirlwind as my next two reconditioning projects. CV will be a complete restore. It should be after these two titles.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. The game plays very well and I will take some "completed" pics over the next couple of days, and hopefully I can work out where all these LEDs types are positioned for a chart.

Ah LEDs on a theatre of magic really brings the game to life. Nice work mate. Did you put a Colour changing led on the tiger saw insert? That looks sweet too
