The idea was proposed to Stern in 2006, long before the recent local interest. In more recent times, A Metallica, Led Zeppelin, another KISS and the AC/DC pin were proposed to Gary Stern, but the license was not approved. I know for a fact the KISS license fee was "through the roof". I think Stern's lack of interest, or the prohibitive fees prior to 2006 would have been the catalyst in the home brew AC / DC pinball;

I'm very pleased it is happening, and this might be the pinball that reignites the industry !

Let's hope Stern opens the purse strings just a little on this one and that Steve is able to get it made without too many compromises.

Sounds like the makings of a potentially great title.

Absolutely..... and i hope it lives up to all the expectations ( LOL - if thats ever possible)... but we all know that Stern have a habit of getting it all horribly wrong.... should be OK with Steve Ritchie... but it is still a Stern and so doubt will remain.

Unfortunately, i'll be saving every penny i can for Wayne's Medieval Madness remake.
Stephen.
Saving $10.00 a week towards it you should have about 1.5 million saved by the time that ever gets released   ((( :tumble: (((

ACDC pin - MUST have an actual cannon in there somewhere for firing the balls out into play to start multiball  &&

DW Drums rule !

kewl,

Kind of funny that most pins have AC going in then convert to DC.

Looking forward to this machine,
