Adams gold door
« on: February 08, 2009, 06:23:13 PM »
I thought i post a picture of my new gold door on the Adams. It looks super sweet and i give it a ten out of ten for the  !!@ factor.
I don't think the gold leg protectors look that good as it give it the plastic look.Might try some felt ones and trim around the edges and see what thats looks like. ^^^

Does anyone make brass ones

The door looks fantastic, but those "gold" leg protectors ruin an awesome looking machine. Did you try the black leg protectors? Otherwise, the felt ones would be your next best option IMHO.

Your right, had a good look at picture and they don't look right,i think black will be a lot better.Tried the felt and cut to suit but still needs to over hang a little.Going to cut another one see if come out better. The good thing with the plastic is that it over hang a little from the leg and hides some of the marks and looks nice and straight.

Very happy with them Greg, got the chrome one on the black spidy and it looks awesome. Both keeper machines for me so worth it.

I'd prefer Balck Leg Protectors, but the door looks simply amazing.

I think you might need a gold bolt to replace the standard bolt that is in the middle of nowhere !
