Black LE for me  #*# would have loved one of each, but anyway....

selling that first pin is the hardest, it does get easier after that
especially when there is a new one on the way

Well done mate, first impressions for me is that it is a fast playing game, with a nice open playfield. We have only seen the Pro version so far and it plays great. The main thing i like about the LE and Premium versions are the drop targets, this is what swayed me into buying one.Stern have finally released a title thats got some old school play about it,and thats what i like in a pin.I would not buy a one dimensional pin in regards to hitting the same thing over and over on the playfield as the main focus point.I have had 10k in my pinball fund for months, and had looked at and considered many titles,i do like LOTR,IM,CV but i kept waiting for ACDC to be reveiled. The choice for me was easy as if you lined all of these title up,for me i like the layout ect on ACDC.Sorry to hijack your post, but nice pick up and enjoy  ^^^.

I approached the landlord of my shop today who has the shop on the corner and suggested he install a pinball machine...

"what do i want one of them for?" was his reply.
"to make money" i said... "put one in the corner for everyone to play and its 50/50 on the takings.AC/DC is the next title out and it will make a bomb".

His reply?

"That's all i need... a shop full of bogans hanging around to play an ACDC pinball... no thanks Gav"

LOL!!!!!

Isnt it funny how peoples attitudes are so wrong.

Choice 1.

Teenagers down at the local pinny and cocktail arcade, spending some coin on some games, having social interraction, enjoying hand/eye co-ordination whilst enjoying healthy competition. Usually under the view of CCTV cameras etc, mostly always behaved so they can stay a member and be included. Adults also having fun at the same venues reminissing about their teenage years. A good healthy mix.

Choice 2.

Teenagers taking drugs, bored at home, locked away in a bedroom on facebook 20 hrs a day, or at a mates place, down the local shops spray painting walls n trains, vandalising stuff etc. Nothing fun to do means boredom and frustration leading to anti-social trouble.

Yeh, Pinny arcades are real bad for society.  @.@   Its about time people woke up. Local councils could fund the rent locally for a small and accessible site, an experienced operator could supply the place with stock and make coin from pinnys and cocktail machines. Everyone wins ! The savings on local council purse strings paying out for vandalism could pay the rent for a site ten fold, and save local councils millions. Julia Gillard shld use her brain and work out an arcade tax.lol instead of stupid carbon tax etc. We live in 2012, but somedays it seems like we still live in the 1950's with peoples close minded views.

and AC/DC, has its lead band member wearing a school uniform, who said AC/DC doesnt promote education !  %.% %.%

I missed the cut off time for the LE models, which was my fault and i can live with that.I bought the Premium version with the shaker motor fitted.I will have the same game play as you but without some of the bling. This model will also look nice, and as i will not be looking to sell i am happy with my choice.I am looking forward though to seeing how good the LE models come up.

Punter, did u ever consider/wondr about just buying the PRO model, thus saving 2 grand plus, and waiting to see if they redo another LE model since so many people are screaming for a LE model but missed out due to low numbers of LE's. Ofcourse another LE model will be different to the 200 and 300, to keep those buyers happy, but i will put $$ on it another LE version will come out to satisfy demand.

You could always sell the PRo model and upgrade later, or keep both. What are ya thoughts on that ?

Brett i took too long to make a call on this title.I got a call from Bruce to see if i wanted to buy the LE model, but i had so much s**t going on in my head i could not make call on it until i had time to chill and see what each model had in it.I can honestly say that i am very happy with my purchase and am looking forward to picking it up  #*#.For me as stated already this model with shaker in it is going to have the same play as the LE and at $800.00 cheaper i can spend that on something else, maybe some nice mods that no doubt will be made for this game ?,or maybe 20 bottles of JD  @@*.

I hope not, not enough TRON LEs, to many TF LEs, AC/DC should be left as is. i thought
the whole idea of the Premium model was to meet market demand with a "complete" game  !@#

this information is from another site....

About the Four AC/DC Pinball Models:
• Offered in four models:
o Back in Black LE (“Black LE”); ONLY 300 units
o Let There Be Rock (“Rock LE”); ONLY 200 units
o Premium (this is a NEW model)
o Pro (Coin Op)

• LE’s and Premium are SUPER LE’s with more features and higher price points than
recent LE games from SPI
• With the SUPER LE’s, we are responding to market demands
• We do not expect to offer SUPER LE’s very frequently, which adds to their value as a
collectible
• The Premium is new and is designed for customers and players that want GAME PLAY
like the LE but the artistic simplicity of the Pro
2
• The Premium is a SUPER high-end game, but priced lower than the SUPER LE’s to
account for the artistic simplicity and lack of collectible features (such as numbering,
signatures and limited production runs)
• There are NO PRODUCTION LIMITS on the Pro or the Premium models and the game
is subject to change

About the Game:
• Designed by STEVE RITCHIE, the highest selling designer in pinball history
• Programmed by LYMAN SHEATS, widely recognized as one of the most creative rule
makers in pinball history

• 12 COMPLETE iconic AC/DC songs:
o Back in Black
o You Shook Me All Night Long
o Highway to Hell
o For Those About to Rock
o T.N.T.
o Hells Bells
o Thunderstruck
o Let There Be Rock
o Rock N Roll Train
o Hell Ain’t a Bad Place To Be
o Whole Lotta Rosie
o War Machine

• An incredible new sound system that makes this game the best sounding pinball game in
history
• A packed playfield featuring:
o For Those About To Rock Cannon
Pro: Rotating cannon perched on top of the right slingshot that shoots
balls. A diverter on the right ramp feeds balls to the cannon.
LE and Premium: A crossover ball track with diverter also feeds the
cannon.
o Hells Bell:
Pro: The custom-made bell is stationary on the Pro model. There is a stand-up
target behind the (overhead) bell. Once the target is hit the trademark AC/DC bell
sound loudly resonates!

LE and Premium: The custom-made bell is on a pivot and a ball hangs below it
just above the playfield. Hitting the ball swings the bell and the trademark
AC/DC bell rings loudly! There is a ball lock behind the bell. Also, there is
a magnet under the playfield. Under certain conditions, when playing in the Hells
Bells song mode, the bell becomes interactive: when the player hits the Fire
button, the magnet is energized and the bell swings on its own, prompting
the trademark AC/DC bell to ring once again!
3
o Rock N Roll Train:
Pro: The iconic train from the Black Ice album is eye candy and symbolic
of the band. There is a flash lamp behind the train display.
LE and Premium: The train is custom-made and molded with an LED in
the train headlight. There is also a flash lamp in the back.
o Hell (lower) Mini Playfield:
Pro: Not available on the Pro model.
LE and Premium: The game features an “Underworld” lower miniplayfield
seen through a Lexan window. With 2 flippers, 3 Targets and 2
orbits, the action is fast and fun.

o T.N.T. Detonator:
Pro: The detonator has a plunger handle that is fixed. Hitting all three
T.N.T. stand-up targets kicks off a simulated “fire” light show.
LE and Premium: After hitting all 3 T.N.T. drop targets, the targets stay
down. Then, a detonator target is exposed behind the letter “N”. Hitting
that target activates a solenoid that causes the plunger to go down, kicks
off the detonator, and sets off a “fire” light show.
o The Highway To Hell: The right ramp is “The Highway to Hell”.
Pro: A billboard-like image of the band is placed over the right ramp in
the corner.

LE and Premium: An LED board is mounted that contains yellow, red and
orange lights. When a ball travels on the ramp, the colors randomly flicker
simulating fire and flames on the ramp. Also, the Premium and LE
versions feature a mechanically animated band with each character
rocking and swaying in time with the music.
o Devil's Juke Box: On the back panel is the horned juke box tune selector that
allows the player to select any of the 12 complete AC/DC songs
o Drop targets: Drop targets available on the LE and Premium models only.
• A ground-breaking rule set that enables players to:
o Choose FULL songs they like to hear
o Choose rules they like to play
o Choose areas of the playfield they like to play
o Pursue a nearly infinite number of scoring strategies
o Stack and overlap three multi-ball modes (Jam, Album and Tour)
• An outstanding art package from the incomparable John Youssi featuring an over-sized,
hand-drawn, sneering face of Angus Young that embodies the rock “n” roll attitude of
AC/DC.
