Williams early 80s Australian coin entry plates

Hi all,

Does anyone have any (or know where I can get some) early 80s Williams coin entry plates for Australian coins?

I'm looking for both the metal entry plates and the plastic windows.

The US dollar metal entry plate I have on the door fits a 20c coin so that may be OK but I'll need to find one that fits a $1 coin as well.

I'd like to find an Australian "20c" and maybe a "$1" plastic window.

And if anyone has a metal blank for the middle window that would be great.

You mean the plastic windows, right? How are you going to do the text?

Maybe I can cut the slot a little wider in one of the "quarter" metal entry plates to fit $1 coins, anyone tried this?

My FP has 20c and 50c mechs where I just filed the original slot plates to suit the coin sizes,

I bought some aussie mechs off fleabay,the 50c turned out to be a 20c so it got the file treatment too works well on 50s now!

even got it to reject 20c and smaller,1credit 20c and 3 credits for 50c

the plastics I used come with the CPR Plastics set could prob stencil the denominations on them.

I wonder if CPR sell the plastic windows separately? Maybe I'll contact them.

You can enlarge the slots with a dremel and a thin grinding tip only takes a couple of seconds

Still looking for 20c coin windows for early 80's williams, also early 80's Bally now.

Would also like to find/make $1 windows.

Can any post some pics of the original Aussie ones so I can look into making some, I don't even know what they looked like.

Hi everyone, just bumping this...

Can someone please take some pictures of early 80's Australian coin entry windows for me so I can look into making them. Looking for pics of 20c, 50c and $1 (if they exist?) plastic windows for Bally and Williams machines, preferably taken with a ruler next to them to make them easier to draw up. If any one has some Gottlieb ones and wants to take the paper inserts out and photograph these too that would be great.

Bumping this again,

I now have Swinks on board who has agreed to help me make some Australian plastic coin entry windows.

Does anyone have any early-80s Bally or Williams Australian 20c (or other denomination) windows they could photograph, take dimensions of or lend to Swinks so we can get the ball rolling?

Come on guys, lets get these reproduced for Aussie collectors!
