I went and saw the Avengers movie tonight with my 12 yr old daughter and her 12 yr old friend.

I rated the movie a 7 out of ten.
My daughter rated it a 7 out of ten
My daughters friend rated it a 8 out of ten (only cause she liked the hulk she said.lol)

It was no better than the Ironman films, or no worse. It was very very similar in many ways. Almost like mixing Captain America and the Ironman movies together. A fun movie yes. A massive blockbuster, No. (start was a bit slow/dragged out)
Worth a watch, yes/probably for most who like this style of movie. I liked Ironman and Captain America etc and gave Ironman a 7, and Captain America a 8.

Worth making a pinball machine after, probably. Would I watch it again, honestly, NO. The kids said the same thing.
If u havent watched it, and u like Ironman or Captain America movies, u will probably like this, but dont expect anything hugely different.
Feels very similar to alot of new releases of late. Transformers was a better movie for me all day long.

Also, STERN could probably capitalise on the film and bring back and out a limited run/special limited addition run of 50 or 100 machines of the Iron Man pinball. (Use exsisting Ironman pinball and just add cosmetic changes to cabinet, lockdown bar n hinges etc, and maybe give machine LEDs etc) because Ironman carries this film in everyway. They could have called this movie Ironman 3 and most would have probably thought this was the norm.

Just caught this film - overall a heck of a fun action movie, agree with the "Ironman 3" comments, Stark was the featured character - I think not as much due to screen time but Downey's presence, he is the most accomplished actor in it I think.

still been thinking of the possibilities.....

Stern could have a bit of fun with the looks of the machine with a wide variety of LE looks.
- Standard machine - cabinet art with all the characters
- Hulk LE - green trim and hulk green cabinet graphic
- Capt. America LE - chrome trim, stars and stripes & himself of course cabinet graphic
- Iron Man LE - candy red trim, IM gold and candy red cabinet graphic
- Thor LE - Metallic gun metal Grey Trim, Thor black and grey cabinet graphic

Just wish the pro and premium had the same playfield, same rules, same game play with maybe just the differences being trim, serial number, back glass and maybe some of the playfield plastics and some custom toys varying for the LE's.

The Pro could have a standard red DMD, and the LE's with the colour dmd (lcd) that has been brought out for the AFM.

Who is designing the AVENGERS from Stern I wonder ? (IF its a definate production title)

The RIGHT designer makes a game. The WRONG designer could kill it.

IF IT WAS Steve Ritchie, great, but maybe he has been far too busy with AC/DC.

Just wish there was SOMETHING from someone/somewhere which was concrete evidence. Hmmmmmmm.  ^&^

The only negative is that if they were doing it you would have thought they would have been given a pre-screening opportunity - I would like it but gut still thinks not.

Remember the video in London with the first unveiling of the AC/DC and someone asked them what there next machine would be - to me that sort of suggested something a little left field where Avengers seems a little too obvious.

Jan 24th 2012 video.

Time will tell.

I spoke with Gary on the phone 4 days ago , and as usual he was very tight lipped .
What he did say was that the next few releases will be very exciting .

So could there be another 2 or 3 pins by the end of the year ?

A couple of Dist in the US have told me X-men then Avengers or Resident Evil .
