WOW
Much along the lines of the P3
Looks like we have a name for this "new generation" of pinballs. namely EMBEDDED.
Personally, I'd like to get Embedded with Elvira . . .

So chronologically, using display nomenclature, I guess the evolution goes:

No display
Light display
Reel display
Nixie display (rare)
Numeric display
Alpha Numeric display
Dot matrix display
Video display (Pin 2000)
Embedded
"I don't operate on a level playing field"

They are up to the testing stage with a lcd in the play field with only 30 units being produced and sold.

hmm ! I wouldn,t have posted that if I was them as it looked very disjointed with little flow initially  *.*
I love the theme and for that I applaud . Lets hope they have a big improvement after some more tests and some implementation of rule set and use of LCD display.
Wonder how long the play field near right sling will last with that very weird ball launch lane jamming it to the right flipper ?
I watch and wait with interest
If it isn't broke, it isn't pinball.

Hopefully there's plans for more lights under the playfield too and they dont try to rely on the LCD to much. It was a bit hard get a feel for the game play from that video and no real detail of the LCD interaction during the game so you'd have to assume there's still a lot more to come.  I really like the theme and good on them for having a crack. It'll be good to see how it finishes up.

The LCD in the PF looks great not over used but effective, I like how the score moves around slightly, like you are on the ship.  Hope it doesn't make you sea sick when playing  :lol

Some interesting ideas include

"Source code available to modify or create your own rules"
"Jack on the front of cabinet"
"PC embedded operating system"

Some of these would make fair tournaments a challenge. Create your own rules, do not tell anyone about the secret 100M points shot and become the new pinball wizard (using your machine of course).

The jack on the front of cabinet would have been good on ACDC when playing late at night with the wife and kids asleep.
If you don't remember the 70s then you were on drugs.
If you remember playing pinball in the 70s you were having a good time.
If you don't remember anything,  then read about it here,
