Lethal Weapon 3 pinball beacon (help)

A friend of mine is going to buy a Data East Lethal Weapon 3.  pinball but the one she is going to buy has not got the blue beacon on top of the back box.
Is this beacon the same as the one on the Getaway or just a flash lamp with a blue dome ?

Does eneyone cary this ?

I found a commercial beacon lens and it fit perfectly.  Mine is red.  Looks similar to one above.  I drilled a small hole in top to release heat.
