ball comes out,no flippers,slingshots,bumpers,scoring.
when comes out for second ball, stays on first ball on backglass.
does come up for second player.
push tilt works.hit the roto spin, makes the noise but thats it. *!@

thanks you for this people..

OK.. couple of faults... the ball count unit isnt advancing for one.

Do the score reels reset at start up?

Score reels resetting to 0 is a major plus .

So.. you have 2 problems
1) no playfield coils getting energised ..  Have you checked the "'Game Over' relay. .. set of normally closed  contacts housing a RED w/ WHITE tracer. Ensure that they are clean and making connection."

2) Ball count unit .. can you manually operate the plungers on this to see if the unit moves freely or does it seem gummed up . ? Also, are the power and earth wires firmly attched to the coil lugs on this unit .. give them a bit of a tug to be sure

I need more room ! and more $$$

+1

Check or replace the backglass "tilt" and "game over" globes. Sounds to me that the game is not properly resetting.

If you "lose the ball", does the "ball in play" advance to "Ball 2" ?

I think you should concentrate on the ball count unit .

Specifically , look for zero position switch (red/white wire on each side ?) , this switch should be normally  closed .. if that switch is open it will cause the problem you have (no playfield coils working) .. I am going from a schematic for a '73 gottlieb but I expect your game will be the same

pushed rest relay, stopped machine from winding over.
checked relay on the backbox.
moved manually the plastic cams, and checked contacts.ok
now machine lights up,thats it,does not kick the ball out.
show game over or tilt.
next test...?

Mate .. it is really hard to help via an online forum if you
a) aren't doing what we rexommend and
b) aren't clearly communicating the result of doing what we suggest

Your last reply mentions nothing about the zero position switch on the ball count unit and also now you state 'stopped machine from winidng over" which implies the game is not completing reset cycle when you start a game but before you indicated it did  ^&^
